On-page and Off-page SEO

Posted November 14th, 2008. Filed under Search Engine Strategies

SEO or search engine optimization is a vital tool of Internet Marketing. The main reason for this is that SEO let webmasters advertise to users, who can be really interested in your products and services.

If you have had some doubts about carrying out a SEO project, do not hesitate to apply SEO techniques. You will be able to enjoy an important increase in traffic. This traffic of visitors may be turned into clients, who are eager to buy your products.

SEO techniques are divided into two main groups: on-page SEO and off-page SEO. The first group is related to all the methods you directly applied to your website to optimize it. The second group involves all the strategies you use externally to improve your site.

On-page SEO may include title tag and meta tags and good content plenty of keywords. Off-page SEO items always incorporate link building to increase your link popularity. This process involves getting more websites that will link to yours.

To face the task of increasing your link popularity, you must take into account 2 important items:

1) You can submit articles to article directories on the Internet. When your articles are accepted, they will be included in lots of sites.

2) Join online communities. Every time you post a comment, your signature box will appear, and it is allowed to add your website link to the signature.

With these strategies you are making your website more popular and all these persons who visit it can become your loyal clients. To achieve this challenge you must also prepare your site with clear and informative content. The information offered in your site will also have an important role.

What's Behind Maverick Business Insider.

Maverick Business Insider

By now you’ve probably seen all kinds of notes about Yanik Silver’s Maverick Business Insider package.

And if you still haven’t picked up…maybe it’s because you’ve got a few unanswered questions. Thankfully most other people have the same questions so Yanik has compiled some of the most pressing ones and answer them right here for you. Frankly, I don’t want to see you miss out on the remaining fast-action bonuses because something you don’t know was left out.

Q. What exactly is the deal?

A. You’re getting a special, $15k closed-door presentation entitled “Instant Leverage Points in Your Business That Bring You Surges of Cash”. It’s a presentation I did last January to 26 top-gun entrepreneurs and business leaders, who paid about $15k in membership fees and trip fees to come together in Baja, Mexico for Maverick Business Adventures.

Plus, I’ve bundled up this DVD, the MindMap I handed out, my newest book called “34 Rules for Maverick Entrepreneurs”, a 2 CD-Audio program and more…the only thing you pay for is shipping/handling. Just $7.95 U.S. or Canada and slightly more Int’l for a package easily worth 30x this meager amount.

Q. What is Maverick Business Insider?

A. As some of you know, I’ve been pretty much solely focused on my new Maverick Business Adventures® concept. It’s a combination of thrilling adventures, business sessions and giving back through charity and education to empower future entrepreneurs.

With a steep membership fee and strict qualifications there’s only a small, select group of top gun entrepreneurs who can be part of this. But there is a much larger group who can benefit from the collective wisdom here.

One part of Maverick Business Insider is the monthly newsletter with candid interviews with those Maverick members, who are self-made millionaires, and understand how to create a work/life balance, while having a positive impact on the world and their community by giving back. These are the real-life people who are quietly making fortunes on and offline and have cracked the code.

Another part of Maverick Business Insider is the collective ‘tribe’. There are events, community, call-in times and more. It’s an evolving list of benefits only for members.

Q. Why are you doing this?

A. 3 reasons really…

Reason #1: It’s an “Ethical Bribe” for you to try the new Maverick Business Insider newsletter.

Reason #2: It’s because this is a brand new resource so obviously we don’t have comments from members yet. I’m looking for your help after you’ve received the package to let me know your comments (good or bad).

Reason #3: This one might sound a bit corny but it’s true. My company’s “Big Hairy Audacious Goal” is to help ‘Maverick-tize’ 1,000,000 entrepreneurs by the year 2020 and impact 1,000,000 young entrepreneurs  Quite frankly, I’m out to change the game of how business is played.

Q. I’ve seen this before from X, Y, & Z? What makes your material different?

A. I really don’t see anything else in the marketplace that is speaking about not just the making money aspect, but a more balanced approach of having more fun and giving back more at the same time.

If you want to be sure there really is something good for you here, check out a webinar I did on Thursday with a few of the Maverick Business Adventures® members giving their take on these concepts.

Q. What’s the catch?

A. None really. I’m probably making this too easy but if you decide the Maverick Business Insider membership isn’t for you, just let us know before the first month is up and you won’t be billed a penny for ongoing membership. Plus you can even keep everything from this introductory package as my gift for giving it a fair shake. That means you do not need to send anything back!

Let me repeat that: you do NOT need to send one shred of material back!

But I do expect 2 things from you…

As much as I’d like to offer this to everybody, I only want the right individuals as members in here – so there are 2 initial filters that you must meet:

Qualification #1: You must be willing to give it a fair chance and promise to apply the material shared. If you’re a ‘know-it-all-seen-it-all’ type this isn’t for you. Or, if you already know you are going to simply ask to cancel without objectively going through the material, save all of us the headache, grief and negative energy by not even signing up.

Qualification #2: 5% pledge to charity of your choice, to help convince my fellow Mavericks to take part in this by seeing their efforts rewarded not monetarily but through charitable contributions. I’m asking you to pledge giving back 5% to the charity of your choice from any additional profits you create using the information revealed as part of Maverick Business Insider. Frankly, there’s no way I can track this; it’s on the honor system (we feature a charity we support in each issue and hope there will be a profound ripple
effect from this).

So there you go.

Hopefully all this answers a few more questions so you’ll simply say “maybe” and try Yanik Silver’s new Maverick Business Insider.

Get the whole scoop and find out about the special fast-mover bonuses still remaining here.

Jack Humphrey the social linking guy has just released the coolest little application I’ve seen in a while, and this comes from a guy that has an iPhone attached to his hip.

Imagine an intelligence gathering software that runs in the background and monitors the entire Web for the latest news based on a keyword or key phrase you choose.

It’ll search social buzz sites like Technorati, RSS feeds, and blogs for that exact keyword and show captions a la Google News-style.

You can set the frequency that it checks, keep an eye on multiple threads and topics that apply to your niche or business and it brings you the results right there in the app.

The possibilities are endless. If you’re a blogger looking for up-to-date content, or an Internet marketer who wants to keep on the top of any new news in your niche, the Blog Talk Monitor will let you keep an eye on it so you can be first out with new information.

One more thing…Jack’s not charging an arm and a leg for it. In fact, he’s not making you pay *anything* for it at all.

This is like having your own personal spy satellite looking over the web and letting you know when someone’s talking.

More than just a Japanese trick in business…

Posted November 14th, 2008. Filed under Business

Kaizen: 改善; Japanese for “continuous improvement”. A Japanese philosophy that focuses on continuous improvement throughout all aspects of life. A Japanese management concept for incremental (gradual, continuous) change (improvement). The Kaizen philosophy lies behind many Japanese management concepts such as Total Quality Control, Quality Control circles, small group activities, labor relations. Key elements of Kaizen are quality, effort, involvement of all employees, willingness to change, and communication.

Mark Joyner’s “Kaizen Club” goes ‘live’!

If you don’t know Mark, you should…He has been referred to as “one of the most important minds of the 21st century” by news agencies and scholars and his books are read throughout the globe in 20 different languages.

What Mr. Joyner is offering there fits perfectly with this wonderful moment in history.

Kaizen is, in fact, about hope. It is a system of changing your life that is so easy and unstoppable that it’s hard not to be filled with optimism.
