1. Among inner-circles, this is known as the best kept secret in Internet Marketing (I agree).

2. It has been running for nearly 2 years, over 5000 people have been *in the know* and almost 100% of the time, they are all AMAZED.

3. It turns our that parts of this were directly responsible for the success of three of the top performing affiliates in the Clickbank network.

4. This stuff has made these guys millions. In fact, these resources are exactly what they use to maintain and expand their $10 million dollar business.

5. It is one of the most incredible deals ever…something that most people would charge up to $1000/month for.

6. Once in, everything discovered is shared with this privileged group…(which could and should include YOU).

7. No matter what type of online business you have, I believe that this could SERIOUSLY affect how successful you are over the coming weeks, months…even years.

You need to watch the video which explains everything VERY carefully in order to make the correct decision here.

Back in 2004, entrepreneur mentor and ABC’s Secret Millionaire Ali Brown had an “a-ha” moment that changed her business and life forever.

She decided to stop chasing after the latest online marketing trends and tools, and instead put together a *multi-step online sales system* that would work FOR her, day in and day out.

The result was Ali’s “Online Success Blueprint System” (aka “OSBS”), first launched in 2005. And if you’ve heard of it, you already know it caused quite a commotion in the Internet Marketing space when Ali decided to share it with the world.

You see, Ali was the first to take all the online marketing strategies she’d learned and put them together into a simple, step-by-step plan, but also include a TON of instructional detail. It caused such a stir that since then it’s prompted many imitations, but they simply don’t come close.

Well, here’s the big news…Ali’s finally revealing this 7-step online success system in a special FREE report called “7 Steps to Online Marketing Success!“.

It’s essentially an “aerial view” of Ali’s entire Blueprint system, and it’s yours FREE. If you’re ready to learn the right strategies and steps that will skyrocket your online business growth, then don’t delay—this goodie won’t be available forever.

Here is why video salelsetters work so well for any market, especially for niche markets and local marketing. And why you should start using it in your marketing asap!

1. Novelty effect

First of all, it is a brand new marketing style which has a clear novelty effect for the customer.

Everyone got used to long text salesletters, but when people see the changing text and voice on the page, they become curious and want to find out more.

2. Web has gone multimedia

The customer wants to see, hear, and feel your offer! This can be done only with video. That’s why YouTube and online streaming, online TV, and stuff like that gained huge popularity.

Just look at how YouTube traffic boosted over the last years, and it continues to grow!

3. “Text sales copy blindness” effect

We live in the era of informational overload. We get so much information on a daily basis that we don’t even have time to process it, and become immune to all kinds of outdated ways of advertising.

Have you heard of “banner blindness effect”? We don’t see banners anymore, we don’t bother to waste time reading long sales copies. Call it “text sales copy blindness” if you will. We need to get everything right now, and FAST. Really fast. Only video can deliver that.

4. You control the sales funnel!

And here is one more trick for you, and why it works like magic.

Maybe you noticed my video salesletters don’t have controls. You can pause it, but you can’t fast-forward or rewind. That’s how you keep your client to follow your selling routine properly. He can’t simply fast-forward to see the price and miss the whole offer because you did not even have a chance to build a value first. By using a video with no controls, you are in control of your marketing offer again; you decide when and how to treat the client properly, and how to prevent him from jumping to the conclusion before building a value.

Imagine you sell antique Stradivarius violins. However ,the customer jumps into your shop, sees the violin with the price tag, and runs away immediately saying, “Wow, that is a rip-off for such an old looking violin.” You didn’t even have a chance to explain that it was made by Stradivarius master himself. OK, you get the point. You’ve got to be in control to build the selling funnel properly!

5. Mind control tricks

Here is one more important reason.

The video salesletter involves a lot of psychology. You may be wondering why I read the text on-screen when doing video salesletter when you could just read it by yourself, but in reality that involves a lot of subconscious tricks when the information is delivered to the customer on different modalities. All my split tests showed that the video salesletter where I read the exact text you see on the screen works twice as well as other ways of presentation delivery like bullet points, diagrams, and charts. It all comes down to basic things like during childhood when your grandma would read you a book and you are all ears.

That’s why video salesletter is the way to go.

Moreover, it’s really easy to do. You don’t need any video editing experience, expensive video equipment. You don’t need to be on camera, and you don’t even have to record your own voice! I will show you how you can hire a perfect native English speaking voice talent for a dozen bucks to record the whole presentation for you!

Secondly, it is really fast to create. You simply need a PowerPoint and Camtasia recorder where you can set up everything in a matter of minutes.

The good thing is you don’t have to be a world class copywriter to create it. You simply follow a secret 20-step proven formula and apply it to your own product or service to make it rock! Believe me, the sequence is what matters!

And the best part is, you don’t even have to have your own product to enjoy the benefits of video salesletter marketing. Simply choose a product which offers high commission but has a low conversion because of outdated marketing approaches, buy a domain name on a good specific keyword for 9 bucks, put up a video salesletter converting this product, and put a direct buy now link to this offer! This is how you override that outdated marketing and make it rock, collecting huge affiliate commissions! I will show you exactly how to use this trick!

* Video Salesletter Guru *

What’s the most important piece of office equipment any direct marketer can own?

It’s not a color printer…a smart phone…or even a PC.

It’s a pocket calculator.

Costs only a few bucks to buy one, yet many marketers I speak to seem either not to own one…or if they own one, they don’t use it.

Here’s what leads me to this conclusion…

At least once a week, I get a call or e-mail that goes something like this:

“Bob, my name is John Q. Public. I’ve self-published a terrific book, and I want you to write a direct mail package to help me sell it. What do you charge?”

After I ask a few questions, I find out what I need to know…

The book has a cover price of $15…John printed 3,000 copies at a short-run book printer for $3 a copy…and therefore his net per copy is $12 each.

I tell John to forget it—he’ll never make money selling his book with a direct mail campaign.

John is shocked. He spent 9 grand of his kid’s college fund printing those 3,000 books. They are cluttering his spare bedroom. His wife wants them out of the house.

Bookstores have no interest in carrying John’s self-published book. Newspapers aren’t reviewing it.

He was counting on direct mail to make him rich and famous. And here I am, crushing his hopes and dreams.

Why can’t I write a direct mail package to sell his book, John wants to know.

“Do the math,” I urge John.

I get out a calculator and do it for him.

And here’s what we find…

His net revenue is just $12 per book.

To do a small test of a traditional direct mail package—outer envelope, sales letter, flier, order form, reply envelope—could cost him $600 per thousand or more.

Let’s say he tests a thousand pieces. At a cost of $600, he needs to sell 50 books just to break even.

That’s a response rate of 5%—very difficult to achieve with a rented mailing list.

To double his money on the mailing, and make a profit of $600 on every thousand pieces mailed, he’d have to sell 100 books.

That means a 10% response to his mailer—almost impossible.

I explain all this to John. He becomes more depressed with every word. I’m not telling him what he wanted to hear.

Don’t worry, I tell John.

There are dozens of marketing consultants and copywriters out there who will tell you it can work—and will be happy to take your money and write a promotion for you.

But that doesn’t matter.

Because the numbers say that, no matter how great the direct mail copy, the promotion won’t make money.

John didn’t need me to tell him this.

He could have determined it for himself by using the most powerful tool a marketer can own: a pocket calculator.

The problem with many marketers—especially entrepreneurs—is that they are “idea people”—dreamers who think big.

Unfortunately, the idea of marketing is not just to innovate…or be creative…or have great ideas…or create really nifty products and services.

It’s to sell your products and services—at a profit.

And to be an effective marketer, you have to know a few factors like product pricing…cost of goods…profit margins…typical response rates…cost per thousand.

You then get out your calculator.

And based on those factors, you can quickly determine whether your idea can fly—or is doomed to lose money.

In John’s case, even if his book sold for $40, I still would have discouraged him.

That’s because, in direct marketing, the profits are mostly in the “back end”—repeat sales to customers who buy a product from you.

But as a self-publisher who has only one product—his single self-published book—John has no back end.

And therefore…no viable business.

By the way, while it’s not difficult to calculate the response rate needed to break even on your direct mail campaign, I don’t have space to show you the simple formulas here.

So I’ve created a free online calculator you can use. Just click here to get started.

FB Auto Cash

How would you like to set up a special type of Facebook Fan Page and promote affiliate links to tens of thousands of interested people, at the click of a button?

It’s so easy that Mark Anastasi has VERIFIED testimonials from more than 30 people who’ve never made a dime online before…who are now making between $1,500 and $25,000 per month EACH, by simply logging into their Facebook accounts and clicking buttons.

I have no idea how long this ‘glitch’ will remain open or if FB’s programmers are trying to fix it. In the meantime, there’s literally MILLIONS of dollars being siphoned from it daily!

Take a look at FB Auto Cash and discover how you can copy Mark’s system for similar cash results of your own!

It’s Michael Rasmussen here with some interesting things I’ve noticed about successful online marketers.

In over 10 years of running my own Internet business, I’ve worked with lots of famous and highly successful marketers.

Just like I recommend to you, I’ve paid attention along the way to what these folks are doing. In this newsletter, I’m going to share some of the most important habits I’ve come across.

Everybody’s business is at least a little different, and that’s good. But these habits should help you be more successful regardless of what you’re business looks like.

—————————————-
HABIT #1: Take Action…With A Plan
—————————————-

Taking action is good advice, if you have a plan first. If you don’t have a plan, your actions will be more like shots in the dark. It won’t do you much good.

I can remember a few years ago when I got stuck in a rut trying to help out lots of my marketing friends. My calendar was so full that I didn’t have room to breathe.

Bottom line, I had essentially set aside my plan and I was paying the price for it. My stress level was insane, and my business results were suffering too.

I was taking lots of action without a plan, so I started focusing on my plan again. When I did that, everything took off. My profits went up, and my stress went down. It felt almost like magic.

If you want to succeed, you MUST take action toward your goals. But you need to know what your goals are, and what steps you need to take to achieve them. That’s what your plan tells you.

Your plan is your roadmap. If you aren’t following it, it’s useless, and you’ll probably get lost.

Every single successful marketer I know has a plan and takes action on it EVERY DAY.

That’s really the key. Acting becomes a habit, and that habit can build your productivity to levels that will shock most people.

—————————————-
HABIT #2: Use A Repeatable System
—————————————-

Lots of people jump from one thing to the next.

They might sell an e-book, or promote some affiliate products, or do something else for a while. They don’t stick with anything long enough to make a system out of it.

That can kill your results in the long run.

You should concentrate on creating repeatable income systems in your business. They don’t have to be fancy, just profitable.

For example, one of the early systems I came up with (and I wasn’t the first) was to build small, tightly focused mini-sites to sell single products.

In my case, I sold an e-book first. The site was really small, and even somebody without a lot of technical skills (like me) could create it.

When I did that once, I could see immediately how to do it again…and again, and again. I still do it today.

Your systems could be anything that works. For example:

* You can sell individual e-books with mini-sites

* You can promote products in marketing forums

* You can create your own “how-to” video courses

Just about anything can qualify, as long as it’s something you can do over and over again.

I’m not saying that you can’t ever do a “one-off” experiment, or that you HAVE to repeat everything you do forever.

What I’m saying is that if you develop repeatable ways to make cash, you’ll end up with an arsenal of tools to build your business.

—————————————-
HABIT #3: Always Build Your List
—————————————-

When I got my start online, I made a horrible mistake. I still cringe when I think about it.

Back then, I didn’t focus on building my list at all.

That means I was selling stuff and making good profits, but my list was pretty much stuck at zero.

Sometimes I wonder how my life would be different today if I hadn’t wasted so much time!

Once I figured out that mistake, I started to do things differently. Now I NEVER create anything for my business that doesn’t have a list-building component.

Always ask yourself how you can capture e-mail addresses whenever you create a product, or put up a website, or promote something for somebody else.

Honestly, the fastest and easiest way to do this is to offer something at no cost.

That can be anything you want. It could be a short report for people in your niche, or a quick video, or a checklist for a particular task, or some helpful resources.

Anything that will entice somebody to sign up for your list could qualify.

You don’t need to add hundreds to your list every day (although that’s perfectly doable), but you DO need to figure out how to add some.

If you’ll do this, you’ll notice that your list is pretty much growing all the time. That’s the single best way to build your cash flow in the long run.

—————————————-
HABIT #4: Focus On Competitive Niches
—————————————-

This sounds crazy, I admit, but it’s true…

You should be focused on building your business in the most competitive markets out there.

The more competitive a market is, the better it is for you. That’s because competition means there’s lots of profit to be made in that market.

Even today, a good bit of my business success is in the Internet marketing (IM) niche. It’s huge, and the competition is ridiculous.

That’s exactly what you’re looking for. I’m not saying IM is necessarily where you want to be, but you should NEVER be scared of a highly competitive market.

Way back in the day, I was just getting into niche marketing, and I didn’t want to go up against major competition. So I stayed in small micro-niche markets where nobody else was.

Then I figured out WHY nobody else was there…because nobody was buying in those niches.

Competition reveals where the buyers are. If big marketers are spending in a niche, you can sure there’s a profit to be made.

All you have to do is figure out how to grab a small slice of that pie (see Habit #1).

—————————————-
HABIT #5: Automate Whatever You Can
—————————————-

You’ll never be able to automate your entire business. Read that again. I don’t think people quite understand it.

What you CAN do is automate most of your business. You can do that in 2 ways:

1) Invest in tools (software, etc.) to truly automate some of what you do

2) Outsource some of the tasks that normally take a lot of your time

That second one might not sound like “automation” but it really is from your perspective. If somebody else is doing the work, it’s automated for YOU, and that’s what counts.

Obviously, when you’re just starting out you might not have a ton to spend on automation tools. That’s okay. Do stuff manually until you can afford to automate.

But when you finally reach the point when you have more cash than time, you MUST figure out how to clear your plate a little bit.

I used to work myself to death because I did pretty much everything by hand. I didn’t even know tools were available to automate a lot of what I was doing!

One way to avoid that problem is to be always on the lookout for good tools to automate your business. Make a list of the ones you want. When you build up the funds, you can buy one.

For example, a friend of mine offered a product that would set up simple little websites with a few mouse clicks, and run them autopilot for me. Now I use that that every single day to build my cash flow a little bit at a time.

Automation is the ONLY way you’ll be able to grow your business beyond what you can make in 24 hours a day.

—————————————-
HABIT #6: Master Getting Visitors
—————————————-

Lots of things might qualify as “the” big skill for an online business, but this is definitely in the top three.

Visitors are the lifeblood of your business. If nobody sees what you’re offering, you won’t ever sell anything.

Like most people, I used to struggle with this, but it’s easier than you think. Here’s a simple plan:

* Focus on getting no-cost visitors first (start with article marketing)

* Always include ways to get more visitors into every single offer you make, whether that’s something you sell (like an e-book) or an affiliate product you promote

* Always experiment with new ways to get visitors

For example, in my early days I found it tough to get visitors. But I saw somebody on a marketing forum talking about offering a no-cost report to build a list, and I had an idea…

I thought if a free report could build a list, a killer video course could build a HUGE list. So I created my first video course and it added literally thousands to my list almost overnight.

If you have a few different reliable methods for getting visitors, and you’re always looking for more, your business will never go stale.

And when you combine that with the 5 other habits, your business will succeed in ways you can’t even imagine right now.

I wanted to let you in on a significant breakthrough in social media affiliate marketing technology. Chuck Mullaney has developed a Facebook application that hosts a full-blown affiliate platform INSIDE Facebook, with more viral-selling bells and whistles than most people will know what to do with (but are powerful beyond measure).

Here’s a quick overview of the new app:

- Easy 5-minute setup process (similar to Google Analytics)
- Unlimited products or services to sell virally
- 1-step affiliate “forced fan” sign up process
- 2-click affiliate link-share by feed, wall or message
- 1-click tweet share
- Affiliate incentives with viral coupon code feature
- Custom viral fan page tools for promotion

Long story short, you can now convert fans into affiliates almost instantly, and that means a super boost of social media profits for your biz.

Here’s the deal: Chuck is hosting a small, private test group for this app a full month before it goes public, and I wanted to invite you to join and be one of the 300 smart marketers involved.

‘LIVE’ PROOF: $1.8 Million System

Posted June 6th, 2011. Filed under Affiliate Marketing

Auto Profits Sniper

There’s a free video that reveals a crazy $2.7 Billion free traffic loophole that you can start exploiting today to start making money within 40 minutes from now.

Tests were done on this system and it produced $1,291 in the first 24 hours.

This test was done just last month and you can see ‘live’ log-in proof to show you the system in action.

And what did it do? It generated over $1.8 Million in just 8 months.

This really is the most important website you’ll ever visit.

Don’t miss out on this free video

A reporter once asked legendary pool player Minnesota Fats what made the difference between a great pool player—which Fats was—and one who was merely good.

“The good pool player makes the shot,” said Fats. “The great pool player not only makes the shot, but does so in such a way that the balls are lined up for the next shot.”

I think the same applies to marketers.

A good marketer creates a product, runs a promotion for it, gets a healthy response rate, and makes a nice profit.

A great marketer does all that too…but he also designs the product, promotion, or both in a way such that futures sales in the next marketing phase are ready to be made.

Example: a good Internet marketer I know created a new e-book, which he priced at $39 a copy.

He paid a freelance writer a flat fee of $700 to write the 40-page e-book.

The first time he sent an e-mail about the new e-book to his list, he sold 154 copies, making a quick $6,006.

But he made that six grand in orders within three days of sending his e-mail blast. After that, the orders—and cash flow—from that promotion dried up.

On the other hand, a great Internet marketer I know created a new e-book.

Instead of paying a writer to create the e-book, he e-mailed a few dozen experts he knew on the topic and asked them for a contribution.

About 30 experts responded. The marketer simply cut and pasted their replies into a Word document to create the e-book.

But, more important, each of those experts markets high-priced information products that would be of interest to the marketer’s list.

The marketer included the contributor’s bio at the end of each chapter of the e-book with a description of one of their products related to the discussion in the chapter, along with a link to the landing page where the product can be ordered online.

However, the marketer signed up as an affiliate for all of the authors featured in his e-book. The ‘live’ hyperlinks in his e-book were his affiliate links.

That means whenever a buyer of the e-book clicked on one of the links, read the landing page, and ordered the contributor’s product, the marketer got a cut.

He too sold thousands of dollars worth of his e-book within a few days of notifying his list about it via e-mail.

But unlike the good marketer, the great marketer continued to get orders from the affiliate product links built into his e-book.

Result: the great marketer’s campaign made many times more revenue than the good marketer’s campaign for a similar product.

Why?

The good marketer was only trying to make the shot—creating a product and selling it to his list.

He made nice money. And he was content.

The great marketer put more thought into the project.

He too made the shot and sold his product to his list.

But by building a “back end” directly into the product he distributed, he also lined up his customers to make the next sale.

Friendly’s restaurant, regardless of what you think of their food, is often a great marketer.

Yes, when you walk in, there are always specials, enticing you to buy more during your visit.

These specials often include an ice cream dessert, which many customers, after the big meal, are too full to eat.

Instead of letting the customer walk out without getting their dessert—which would slightly increase the restaurant’s margin on the meal—my local Friendly’s gives away a certificate entitling you to get your free ice cream on your next visit.

Are they being generous?

Yes. But they are also being smart.

Because when you return to claim your free ice cream, you will most likely buy ice cream for the people with you…or pick up a quart to take home…or stop and have lunch.

Friendly’s is a great marketer, because they are thinking ahead to the next sale—not just focusing on today’s transaction.

How about you?

Are you a good marketer or a great marketer?

Good marketers focus on the front end—the immediate sale.

Great marketers strategize ways to maximize revenues from every product, promotion, and customer.

Good marketers make a good living.

Great marketers make a great living—and become rich beyond the dreams of avarice.

Imagine clicking a mouse button 7 times…

And 1 minute 47 seconds later having your own cash site banking you daily commissions (without having to worry about any traffic).

If you like the sound of making $6914, $16,936 or an impressive $21,211 a month for spending 2 minutes pushing 7 buttons then you MUST watch Mike’s video right now!

You’ll quickly realise you’re just 7 clicks and under 2 minutes away from changing your life for the better.

As an entrepreneur, time is your most important asset, and if you’re wasting it doing things other than “money making activities”, your business will FAIL.

I’m going to share with you my #1 technique for minimizing distractions and making the most of your workday.

This technique will help you get more work done in 4 hrs (and also make more money) than most people do in an entire day.

In fact, I regularly use this technique to complete all my main “work” by 12 noon, then spend the rest of the day taking care of the “smaller” tasks and procrastinating ;-)

The technique is called the 60/60/30, and I learned it from Eben Pagan (one of the most successful internet marketers in the world).

He always credits this technique as the reason why he is able to run multiple 7-figure businesses that generate $30 million+ per year in revenue.

Here’s how The 60/60/30 Technique works: The first thing you need to get is a timer (you can use your phone if it has this feature).

Next, you want to set the timer for 50 minutes.

During these 50 minutes, you do nothing but focus on one specific task.

You need to eliminate all distractions during this time (no checking e-mails, Facebook, Twitter, etc).

Once your 50 minutes are over, you STOP working immediately (even if you’re in the middle of typing a sentence).

You then get a 10 minute break.

Set your timer for 10 minutes, and during this time, you can do anything you want (listen to music, check Facebook, etc).

Once your 10 minutes are up, set the timer for another 50 minutes and keep working without any distractions, then take another 10-minute break.

After that, take a full 30-minute break.

During this longer break, you can grab something to eat, take a nap, go for a walk, etc.

This completes one 60/60/30 cycle.

In summary, you work for 50 mins / break for 10 mins / work for 50 mins / break for 10 mins / then take a long break for 30 mins (60/60/30)

You can do as many of these cycles during the day depending on the amount of work you need to get done.

Here’s why it works:

1) When you eliminate all distractions and focus on one single task, you are much more productive and get things done faster (you also do them better).

2) With the constant breaks, you never get tired or burned out, so you can remain “fresh” throughout the day.

3) When you use a timer, it holds you accountable and prevents you from wasting any time.

Extra money-making productivity tips:

1) Always have a “to-do” list of the top 3-5 things you need to get done during the day (write this the night before).

2) Always start your day by working on the most important tasks that make you the most money.

3) Never check e-mail as soon as you wake up, because this is the easiest way to get distracted and worried. Instead, check your e-mail only after the most important tasks are complete.

Start using these tips and you will instantly notice an improvement in your productivity.

You will also start getting faster (and better) results, and make more sales in your business.

Niche Traffic Formula

It’s harder to find the ultimate traffic generation method than a Golden Ticket to Wonka’s chocolate factory.

Everywhere you look someone has “the answer” in some magic, mysterious, black-box product.

Well, the biggest secret about traffic…is that there is NO secret. That’s right. You can try fly-by-night shady tactics and still get traffic too.

But would it be safer to do it the right way, because search engine companies DO want your sites in their search results, otherwise they would be out of business.

When you get traffic the RIGHT way, you don’t need to worry about losing traffic, getting slapped, or any other nonsense.

It’s like driving your car–instead of trying to find every loophole and trick to NOT get caught speeding…just drive within the speed limit!

“Slow and steady” may not win the race, but you will complete it.

Friendship On Facebook Is Like Money…

Posted June 3rd, 2011. Filed under Web 2.0

Have you ever heard the quote: “Friendship is like money, more easily made than kept”? Samuel Butler said it, and that quote pretty well sums up how things work on Facebook. Making lots of friends is easy, but what can they do for your business, and once you have them how do you keep them engaged and spending?

We’re going to show you ways to crank up your presence on Facebook to get traffic and to translate those friendships into sales, even though Facebook is intended to be a social network.

In 2004, when Mark Zuckerberg started Facebook, he intended it to be just a way for college students at Harvard to connect. It was kind of like being in the student union with your friends, but you didn’t have to leave the dorm.

And then it blossomed and grew far larger than Zuckerberg or the rest of the world imagined. Today, Facebook is not only a name known in most households in the U. S., but in homes around the world.

This creates an incredible opportunity for any marketer, whether you are a brick and mortar business owner or have a marketing presence online. For local business owners, Facebook is a great way to connect with people in their region. For Internet marketers or e-commerce site owners, it’s an opportunity to connect with the world. At no other time in history has this type of bonding opportunity been available!

So, how can you increase your presence on Facebook? What are some of the cutting-edge ways that you can use to bond with your ideal customers so they’ll follow you right to your sales page or your front door and buy your products?

Here are 20 different ways to make Facebook a very important tool in your promotional and SEO toolbox:

1.Get a Vanity URL. You’ll need 25 likes for your fan page first, which is easy to do. Then, be sure to get a Facebook vanity URL. Make it easy to remember by keeping it clean (no hyphens or underscores, for example) and as short as possible. You want it to be easy to type and to stick in people’s minds. Just be sure that your vanity URL is close to your brand name. If you can’t do that, make sure that the URL you pick makes sense to your business’s purpose. For example, if you have a shoe store called “Miller’s Shoes,” you want a domain like http://Facebook.com/millers or http://facebook.com/awesomeshoes.

2. Use a keyword rich description for your page settings. Just as you would with any other page, be sure to give your primary keyword prominence in your page title and in your page’s description.

3. Choose the anchor text links in your page carefully. We established in last weeks’ newsletter that even “nofollow” links do pass some link juice. So… be sure to choose the anchor text for your page links wisely. As we always teach, go for that “low-hanging fruit,” and focus on getting some juice for the keywords you know you can rank for easily.

4. Know your stats. Check Facebook “Insight” stats regularly. Know how many visitors you’re getting, what days and times they arrive, and what they’re reading. It will help you to tailor your posts to their preferences.

5. Stay logged in. This will make it easy for you to share interesting tidbits with your visitors. Just check the “Keep me logged in” box when signing into the site.

6. Add content regularly. Facebook is no different from any other pages on the Internet. If you want it to rank in search, you should add unique, quality content to it regularly. And mix it up. Use photos, videos, and audios along with your text entries. This may be the most important key to success.

7. Be unique. Think hard about how to make your Facebook page different. Because there’s so much going on at Facebook, you want to make a great first impression. First, have a great photo or logo. It used to be that a designer could be way more creative with a page. Now, since the newer page design took over a while back, that photo or logo is critical. Here are 5 pages that have great designs today:

Threadless

LiveScribe

Victoria’s Secret

Slightly Stoopid

Burt’s Bees

8. Use a sandwich page. Facebook is a little picky about advertising. If you have an eCommerce store, it won’t be as tricky as if you’re advertising information products, especially if they’re geared toward making money. But even if you can get your page approved easily, it’s better to have an optin page when someone clicks on your Facebook link. Give something of value away on that page in exchange for the potential customers name and email address (or just email address). This way, even if you don’t make the sale, you’ll still have permission to email them with content and other offers whenever you like, and the opportunity to build a relationship with people on the fence, who may just turn out to be your best customers.

9. Take advantage of photo ops. Use pictures to connect with people on Facebook. Always use store openings, special events or any live conferences or meetings to take photos. Then, put the photos up in your Facebook account and tag the people in them. You’ll be amazed at how much traffic you’ll get just from people sending their friends to your page to see their photos.

10. Create contests. People love contests, especially when they’re free to enter. So, create contests regularly and use them to get people to your Facebook page.

11. Get the AWeber app and add an optin box to your page. AWeber has now made it simple for you. If you use another autoresponder, you can still add an optin box using FBML code pages. Just go to your page and click on Apps. Add FBML app and place your autoresponder code in one of those pages. (You can create up to 10 extra tabs for your page that will hold code with this app.) Or, check to see if your autoresponder company has an app of its own. Build your list!

12. Integrate Twitter. There are multiple ways to send your tweets to Facebook, but an easy way is just to add the app “Twitter” to your Facebook account. It will automatically grab any tweet you make and send it to your Facebook profile.

13. Thank your fans. If you’re not a huge conglomerate, it’s probably not going to be too much of a time sink to thank the people who “like” your page. They will remember and come back to see what you’re up to again and again.

14. Create a new GMail account for your current customers. Load up the contact information that you have for them in GMail and use that account as your Facebook email address . Facebook will automatically contact your customers and invite them to your page.

15. Join groups in your niche. Networking with others of like mind can uncover some potential customers. Never market to them on Facebook! Just have conversations with folks, make friends, and inevitably, they’ll drop by your profile to check out your stuff.

16. Jumpstart the action. When you build a new page, ask your coworkers, family, and friends to “Like” your page. It’s kind of like bartenders salting the tip jar on the bar to make people think it’s impolite not to leave folded money. Social proof is often incentive enough to get others to participate.

17. Use polls and surveys. Not only is this a great way to get folks to participate, but it can be great market research for your business, as well.

18. Look at what your competitors are doing. See how you can do it better. Be the 007 of marketing in your niche.

19. Add Like buttons wherever you can. Having the ability for people to like and share blog posts, for example, is critical. But even if you’re an e-commerce site, be sure to add a Like button to you homepage and to your product pages.

When to send e-mail invitations for webinars?

Posted June 2nd, 2011. Filed under Other Stuff

When should you start sending e-mails to invite people to your seminar, and how many should you send? Consultant Leslie Davidson sends 5 to 6 e-mails starting no more than 3-4 weeks before the event.

“Consider sending at least a couple of e-mails in the week just prior to the webinar, when people are most likely to register,” advises Davidson. She says that 30-50% of registrations come in the last week before the webinar.

Increase web revenues with people photos.

Posted June 1st, 2011. Filed under Other Stuff

According to Internet marketing expert Amy Africa, the average user spends 10% more time on web sites that have a lot of photos showing people. Reason: according to Amy, when we see other people’s eyes, we stay longer.

How does this translate into more online revenues? “The more you stay, the more you pay,” Amy notes. (That’s the same reason why Barnes & Noble now serves coffee and puts out comfy chairs for you to sit and read.)
