Neil Shearing just released a blogging system that’s so ‘anti-content’ that it goes against the grain of publishing quality content on a website, and yet it’s spitting out cash faster than anything that’s more dressed up.

His site “Wine Buyers UK With Tesco Direct” now has more than 1000 pages indexed which is truly exceptional.

If you had clicked to view some the posts, I think you’d be shocked at what is written in them…which is not much :)

So what is this blogging system all about? It is essentially a self-updating WordPress blog combined with a one-of-a-kind WordPress plugin that grabs affiliate data feeds from affiliate networks like Commission Junction, Linkshare or Shareasale.

The neat thing is that these data feeds include your affiliate links which is great IF you can get a LOT of traffic. But as it turns out, even Neil himself was surprised at how fast the spiders come to visit his blog for wine buyers…in 48 hours. Quite by accident, he stumbled upon a way to blow the “Google sandbox” myth into smithereens.

Neil and his wife Linda were experimenting with building self-populating blogs using product datafeeds. The idea was to create blogs with hundreds or thousands of entries that would then provide on-topic links back to their real ‘money’ sites.

The theory was that the blogs would be easy-to-produce and quick-to-create ‘satellite’ sites that would feed links and traffic to more important sites.

Well, the result was a great success, but it threw up some wholly unexpected, but very welcome extra benefits.

Neil and Linda found that the ‘throwaway’ blogs started to rank far higher in the search engines then they’d dared to expect. For some reason, the search engines loved them.
