Qondio launched on January 4th. Its aim is to become a huge storehouse of online information, all contributed by its members. You can also add your websites in your account to build up the backlinks. The more the merrier.

What sets Qondio different and apart from Wikipedia, Squidoo and other major information-based site is this: the more information you add (known in Qondio as “Intel”, the “article write-up” part of the site), the more credits (Qondio dollars) you get, and the higher your websites will rank in its web directory. You also earn credits for rating fellow members’ articles.

There’s also a financial incentive, driven by AdSense advertising on each “Intel” page: for every “Intel” page you publish, you get 100% of your deserved AdSense revenue based on the AdSense ID number you enter in your account. Those ads with your ID will appear only on your own “Intel” pages, so you get something when readers click ads on your pages. Yup, 100% revenue sharing back to you.

Qondio is in beta so I expect the management team to incorporate better social networking/bookmarking elements in it. To help you think simply, just treat it as an article directory for your SEO purpose, though your “Intels” can be very short, informal and anything under the sun.
