Review: iKobo

February 8th, 2006 by User ImageNelson Tan

iKobo allows people to send and receive money in over 170 countries and is one of the new kids on the block to hit the list of payment processor few months ago. What really set apart ikobo from the rest of the payment processor is that after you send money using your credit card, ikobo will send the recipient a free Visa debit card (i-Kard) that they can use to withdraw the cash at over 800,000 worldwide ATM’s, or use at any merchant who accepts Visa.

Upon receiving their Visa debit card (i-Kard), the recipient will be able to withdraw funds immediately. You will then be able to send money anytime to your recipient who can withdraw money from the i-Kard seconds after it is sent.

Not only that, ikobo also had a unique referral scheme. Earn $10 each time you refer a friend and they send or receive money with iKobo. Plus, you receive 5% of all fees that your friend pays to iKobo. Isn’t that great!
