Man's Pleasure Is Another Man's Poison
by
Justin Koh & Nelson Tan
Although
getting as many visitors as possible into your virtual shop is
of paramount importance, you would also want to automate the process
just as much...but so is everybody else.
'Automation' to someone else literally means you are 'leaving
yourself open' to be targeted as a potential visitor for him/her,
and that's really the biggest price to pay for your willingness
to get involved in a common program. In fact, there are
still so many people out there who would push the blame elsewhere
for the flood of mails in their Inboxes or the endless popopopopopopopop-ups.
Quite simply, they just have to opt-out, but they are not even
aware of this principle: You co-operate by opting in,
and you co-operate by opting out.
You
see, there are traffic programs that work, and there are traffic
programs that don't work just as good. And what works
for someone else may not work for you. That's why we
like to point out the disclaimer, "One Man's Pleasure Is
Another Man's Poison."
Anyway,
as we continue to update you on the movers and shakers of Internet
Marketing, we build up our personal database of hand-picked traffic/web
promotion programs which we feel will not hinder the progress
of your online activities too much or spend too much of your time
and capital. After all, your main job is to $ELL.
Please
read sticky #2: "Do
You Run A Stall Like That?" which may help you identify
traffic programs based on a set of criteria according to how we
see it. Of course, how we see it may not be entirely fool-proof.
We look forward that you can help us polish the article should
you feel inspired.
Just
remember to read the fine prints of every program lest you get
offended by them later on *wink*.
