Niche Possibilities: Selling Resell Rights And Private Label Products Offline...

by James Jackson

With the recent explosion of niche resell rights products and private label information products coming onto the market there's an ever growing potential for you to generate more profits than ever before by acquiring the rights to these products, publishing them under your own name and selling them online.

But...Is there more potential here than you had first imagined?

Could you make even more money by selling your information products offline too?

Recently I have been brainstorming some ideas to market and sell some of the resell rights and private label products that are just sitting on my hard drive collecting digital dust.

Here's an idea..."Info Product Fund Raisers".

You could put together fund raisers for local schools, churches, and other organizations.

First, if you're like me, you'll have to scan your hard drive to dig up all the resell rights and private label products that you own.

Make sure you inspect each product for quality. Then start grouping them together by theme and/or topic.

For example you could make a new folder for each category like:

  • Health Products
  • Gardening Products
  • Home Business Products
  • Educational Product
  • Etc.

Once you get your categories together and have filled them with related products you can then begin to create a printed catalog.

You would simply put together a catalog of these "quality" information products. If you are good at graphic design you could do this your self or outsource the catalog making project to someone at Elance Online, Guru.com, RentACoder, ScriptLance, Freelance or Keen.

Remember to include the prices of your products in the catalog and the profit margin on each product that the organization will receive.

Now all you have to do is market your new fund-raising business in your local market. You could use:

  • Press Releases
  • Classified Ads
  • Free Ad Boards (the ones you see in grocery stores)
  • Direct Mail
  • Cold Calling (my least favorite :-)

Also keep in mine to try and target your information products to the type of organization you want to reach.

For example if you're concentrating on churches as your niche market you could put together a catalog of:

  • Bible Study Manuals
  • Bible Study Workbooks
  • Understanding Bible Verses
  • Healthy Eating The Bible Way
  • Etc.

If you're concentrating on schools as your niche market you could put together products such as:

  • Increasing Your Child's Memory Power
  • Fun Game For Learning And Play
  • Child Proofing Your Home
  • Helping Your Child Study...
  • Etc.

You could even setup such that your products are delivered via print-on-demand services like Lulu.

If you wanted to sell your products on cd you could use SwiftCD.

Also keep in mind that you can still deliver your products online if they are digital; all you would have to do is collect the customers e-mail address with your orders and send the download instructions to them after you have collected the proceeds.

If you want to discover more low competition niche keywords, be sure to get 75-100 targeted niche marketing keywords lists and the information you need to profit with them every month at James Jackson's Find Hot Niches.
