However, since it's still in its infancy, I found it not easy
to get accurate information just yet.
First, choose "full
view books" to download books in their entirety. However,
your keywords are mainly reflected inside the content.
That means, if you search for "colon cancer" for example,
the book title may not even reflect the subject of cancer at all.
It could be something else as far-fetch as "Military construction
and Veterans Affairs and related agencies appropriations for fiscal
year 2006". Depending on what you are searching for, the
subject matter can be quite rare, so you will have to bear with
irrelevant results.
The better thing
to do is do an "advanced book search", where you can
search by title. However (again!), try not to have a key phrase
of more than 2 words. I can't even find a full-view book on dog
training.
That's the state
of GBS at the moment, but it will get better by the day as it
digitizes and archives extensively from established library sources.
Will it bankrupt Penguin Classics the way MP3 bankrupts Tower
Records? :)
